Dr Sharma qualified as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Birmingham in 1995. Since graduating she continued to work towards Post Graduate training and in 1997 completed her MFGDP qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons. In 2013 she gained her Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Birmingham.
Dr Sharma has owned Purity since May 2000. Embarking on a successful refurbishment and modernisation project to create state of the art surgeries, equipment and environment. Dr Sharma has worked with West Midlands Deanery providing education and training to newly qualified dentists. Since August 2005 she has been accredited with Enhanced Trainer status, providing mentorship and training that is second to none. Dr Sharma has special interest in Orthodontics, Sedation and Facial Aesthetic treatments.
Dr Emily Cairns
Dr Cairns qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2009. Since graduating Emily has undertaken further post graduate training and in 2011 completed her MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons. She has a keen interest in the education of students and newly qualified dentists. She completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at Sheffield Hallam University and has been involved in the teaching of dental students training at Sheffield University.
Away from work, She is a keen baker of cakes and puddings, which both the practice and her husband enjoy
Mr Daniel Saund
Mr Saund qualified from Bristol University in 2002. He was our very first VDP and remains with us on a part time basis. Daniel has continued to develop his career as a commitment to providing high quality care for his patients. He has trained at the Royal Shrewsbury, Princess Royal Telford, Queen Elizabeth and Birmingham Dental Hospitals. He has passed his MFGDP, MFDS RCS, MFDS RCPS, MJDF RCS, and MSURG DENT post graduate examinations and most recently completed his training to become an Consultant in Oral Surgery. Daniel also teaches oral surgery to undergraduates and postgraduates students.
Dr Chris Blore
Dr Blore qualified from Sheffield University in 2009 and completing the postgraduate MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2011. He spent several years working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments in Yorkshire and is now studying Medicine at the University of Birmingham so that he can one day become a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr Blore has extensive experience of surgical dentistry and has become very good at difficult extractions and minor oral surgery procedures such as removal of wisdom of teeth and buried roots. Aside of dentistry he likes to keep fit by cycling and running. He also enjoys cooking (although not always entirely successfully).
